Cascina Ca’Rossa (translates to Red House) is the ‘Fo’s first foray into the high-end wines of Roero. Roero might not generate the international press of Barolo or Barbaresco, but the red wines out of this small region are certainly their equal. Ca’Rossa is run by several generations of the Ferrio family and has been operating with organic certification since 2012. They also produce a few wines from the neighbouring appellations as well. These are rare wines to find in Australia, but for lovers of Piemonte, they are a must-have and an absolute revelation.
Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence:

– for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (penalty exceeds $700)
