This is a new producer for us here at the ‘Fo, but one we’ve had our eyes on for a while. They’re a bit under the radar, but we’d guess they won’t be for much longer with a wine like this one. It’s WA cabernet as you mostly know it, but there’s so much lurking beneath the surface. To no one’s surprise, you’ll find the usual blackcurrant, eucalypt and mint. Give it a few minutes though. Here comes licorice, chocolate, rhubarb and coffee. Very layered, very complex, very satisfying.
Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence:
– to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (penalty exceeds $8,000).
– for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (penalty exceeds $700)
