Tom King

Tom King spent 33 years of his working life at various Queensland Prisons. In the 1989, together with many hundred other senior and junior staff of all prisons throughout Queensland he was declared redundant and subsequently, the Kendy report, which preceded the American inspired “cost effective” prisons for profit concept was imposed on all Queenslanders. The report has never been scrutinised until now.
