Following its release in 1976, Leo Sayer’s “You Make Me Feel Like Dancing” topped international music charts and was ranked as the number 13 song in 1977 by Billboard.

The song’s success continued into 1978, winning Sayer a Grammy in the category Best R&B Song. “You Make Me Feel Like Dancing” was his first number-one single in the US, Canada and New Zealand as well as number two on the UK Singles Chart.

Aside from the music charts, Sayer’s song has made appearances in episodes of the Simpsons, Fringe and the Brady Bunch Variety Hour.
