Toothpaste can do more than clean teeth. Surprisingly, toothpaste can do more than keep bad breath and cavities away – there are actually multiple other uses for this popular household item.
Read on to find out how to make the most of your toothpaste! (Keep in mind that the hacks below are intended for plain, white toothpaste.)
Clothing stain? No problem! Toothpaste is actually great at removing stains. With a clean, damp cloth, add a little bit of toothpaste and gently rub until the stain disappears, then wash as usual. Repeat if necessary!
From gold chains to diamond rings, you can pretty much clean anything with toothpaste! With an old toothbrush, add a drop of toothpaste and scrub gently, then rinse clean with warm water — it’s that easy!
Floor scuff marks are pretty common, especially if you don’t remove your shoes before going inside. With a damp cloth or old toothbrush, gently rub each mark with toothpaste, then wipe clean and the scuff marks should disappear.
Luckily some stains can be removed with toothpaste. Just apply toothpaste directly to the stain and give it a really good scrub with a clean brush, then sponge with water!
No one likes nasty drink rings left behind on their coffee table. To remove ring stains, add a little bit of toothpaste directly to the stained surface and gently rub with a damp cloth until it’s all gone, then wipe off any excess toothpaste.
If you’ve recently been to the hairdressers and some leftover hair colour has managed to get onto your skin, don’t fret! You can apply a bit of toothpaste to the stain and rub until the colour has disappeared, then wipe off with a damp cloth.
Toothpaste can be used to defog glass, even before a shower! Spread a bit of toothpaste onto the mirror and wipe away with a clean cloth. The toothpaste will work as an anti-fogger and keep your mirror from fogging next time you shower — it’s brilliant!
