Princess Victoria steps out in daring fashion choice

If you look at any fashion blog, they’ll tell you statement stripes are very much in fashion.

And when it comes fashion, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is quite happy to make a statement of her own.

She appeared in a banana yellow striped dress yesterday to attend a seminar on antibiotic resistance during the World Water Week conference at Folkets hus in Sweden. The colourful piece featured a bow around the neckline. With her usual tied back do and basic make-up, she gave the outfit an extra pop of colour with red heels and a matching clutch bag and earrings.

In contrast, the princess, who celebrated her 40th birthday in July this year, looked lovingly understated in a blue button up dress, with everyone in matching tones for these gorgeous family snaps.

In earlier birthday celebrations she dazzled in this butterfly embroidered number.

Victoria was also very much following the trend of head to toe prints too, when, during an official dinner with Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark on May 30 Victoria wore this stunning bold dress.

She again followed that look when she stepped out the day before in this swan print gown by Swedish designer Jennifer Blom.

The mother of two is often spotted wearing labels like Oscar de la Renta and Dolce & Gabbana.
