The royal who used to be a model, wore a breathtaking white lace custom made suit  which she paired with opulent cream satin heels

She had a sleek middle parting for her hair and completed the look with a simple but elegant-looking pearl headband.

Princess Sofia, 31, was joined by her, 37-year-old Prince Carl Philip who looked handsome in his Swedish Navy full uniform, as they both watch their firstborn child christened by Archbishop Antje Jackelen.

But no matter how amazingly dressed they were, their mini Prince, who was born in April this year stole the limelight of the event.

Little Prince Alexander who is fifth in line to the throne wore a cotton and lace gown, which has been worn by generations of royal babies before him. In fact, it was the very same christening gown worn by Prince Gustaf Adolf in 1906. Most recently, Alexander’s cousins, Princesses Estelle and Leonore, and Princes Nicolas and Oscar, wore the smock.
His father and aunties, Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine, have also worn the family heirloom.

Prince Alexander, who was born in April, was officially welcomed into the world by his parents, Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip, at a ceremony in Drottningholm last week.

In another newly-released image, taken by photographer Mattias Edwall at Drottningholm Palace, the young family pose alongside Alexander’s aunts Sara Hellqvist, Lina Frejd, Princess Madeleine, and Crown Princess Victoria who were all dressed to perfection.
