Princess Mary shines at Copenhagen Fashion Week

Princess Mary appears at Copenhagen Fashion Week

Embellishment was the word as Princess Mary appeared at Copenhagen Fashion Week in Denmark on Tuesday.

Joining designers at the opening of the annual event at City Hall, our Princess looked every part a style icon.

Elegant in a jewel-embellished black coat, she was dressed warmly for the wintery weather but also showing elegance, pairing the coat with slim black pants and a simple white top.

Styled with an updo hairstyle, red lipstick and her trademark warm smile Mary was as captivating as the fashion icons around her.

You can see why Mary has earned a reputation as being one of the kindest and most compassionate royals around the world, despite her rapid introduction to the royal life.

As for the fashion, embellishment is a fashion trend that is already being seen in Australian fashion stores.

We will be seeing a lot more of embroidery and fake stones, obviously more affordable than the Princesses jewels, adorning our fashions, on everything to jeans, dresses and jackets right down to shoes and bags.

We are sure to see plenty more of embellished fashion in coming months with our own Australian Fashion events for 2017 in the planning.

Keep a look out for Starts At 60’s own coverage of Melbourne Fashion Festival next month.
We have some exciting plans underway to bring the fun of the festival straight to you.

What do you think of Princess Mary’s fashion choice at this event? Is it something you would wear?
