Princess Mary isn’t afraid to turn heads when it comes to her style – after all, she has the wardrobe to back up almost any choice.
And this week she turned heads in a knee-length leather skirt and heels for her latest royal outing.
Wearing a high-necked floral shirt, she tucked it into the deep blue skirt and added stiletto heels to the ensemble. Showing off a glowing tan, she looked completely relaxed as she smiled for photos.
Mary was presenting an award, and the caption from the Danish Royals’ official Instagram page read: “HRH The Crown Princess today presented the Women’s Board Award 2018 to Marianne Kirkegaard, who is Group CEO for CSM Bakery Solutions in the United States. With the award, a board member goes to the French business school INSEAD.”
Fans praised her latest outfit choice, with one commenting: “Love that skirt,” while another compared her to a “super model”.
She’s been keeping busy over the last few days, and she gave a powerful speech on Tuesday at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France.
“Human rights are the basic rights and freedom that belong to every person in the world from birth until death,” the 45-year-old said, according to 9Honey. “As a nation, we have seen first-hand that gender equality is a prerequisite for economic growth, welfare, social cohesion and the freedom and opportunities of the individual.”
While she acknowledged all the work that has been done, she said more still needs to be addressed. “Violence against women is one of the strongest manifestations of gender inequality and is one of the areas which the Council of Europe has raised the bar,” she added.
Wearing a fitted grey dress with a statement white collar, she once again stole the show as she took to the stage. According to the royals’ official page, she was there to “attend meetings and hold talks at the session of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly.”
