Princess Mary rarely puts a foot wrong when it comes to fashion, and the Danish royal’s latest outfit choice was no different as she stunned in a floaty navy frock on Thursday.
The 46-year-old, who is married to Crown Prince Frederik, was the picture of elegance as she stepped out wearing the summery frock to attend a royal engagement.
Mary’s dress, which nipped in at the waist, featured a respectable high neck, showing off her delicate frame. She completed the ensemble with a pair of statement pearl earrings.
The princess wore her brunette locks in a pony, and kept her makeup to a minimum, which included a soft blush and clear lipgloss.

It seems to be a busy week for the Australian-born princess, who was spotted in powder-pink dress to attend a fashion show in Copenhagen on Wednesday.
Mary’s dress, which nipped in at the waist, featured a simple design of purple flowers – a striking pattern that looked eye-catching without being busy in the way a more traditional floral fabric would have been.
She completed the ensemble with a chunky purple belt, silver earrings, and a pair of matching pink heels, ensuring she fitted right in with the fashionable crowd. The princess had her brunette locks styled in loose waves, and kept her makeup to a minimum, which included a soft blush and clear lipgloss.
Nyudklækkede designere fra de danske designskoler viste her til eftermiddag kreationer frem under deres fælles show Future of Fashion. Her var temaet blandt andet innovation og teknologi, og til stede var H.K.H. Kronprinsessen, der efter showet uddelte tre priser til særligt talentfulde kandidater. Over the past month, the mother-of-four has been holidaying in the Jutland region of southern Denmark with her entire family, soaking up the European summer while it lasts. While the world is used to seeing Mary in glitzy gowns and gorgeous royal attire, she’s been keeping it casual on her holiday at the iconic Grasten Palace, known for hosting the Danish Royal family on their summer vacations.
It’s the first summer the family are spending without Prince Henrik, who sadly passed away at the age of 83 on February 13. The Prince battled poor health for years, and was stricken with dementia. He died in his sleep surrounded by family.
