Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman sure know how to get heads turning.
The pair, who have been close friends for years, attended the AACTA International awards in Los Angeles on Saturday and posed up a storm together on the red carpet.
Jackman kept it classic with a black suit and striped tie, while Kidman stunned in head-to-toe pink at the Avalon Hollywood Hotel.
The actress wore a floor-length Carolina Herrera gown, paired with a simple pink clutch.
Kidman was nominated best supporting actor for The Killing Of A Sacred Deer, but missed out with the award going Allison Janey, who won for her part in I, Tonya.
The AACTA International awards are the big brother to Australia’s AACTA Awards, recognising talent from all countries.
Other stars in attendance included Aussie singer Delta Goodrum, actress Margot Robbie and Brit Gary Oldman.
Oldman was named best male actor for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour and praised Australia’s contribution to the big screen.
“Australia’s contribution to international cinema in my humble opinion is unmatched,” he said in his acceptance speech.
“Film making, writing, cinematography, acting past and present — all at the top of their game. “It is a bottomless well of talent. I am so very proud and honoured.”
While it may be a long way from the bright lights on Hollywood, Australia has dished out some of film’s biggest stars over the past 50 years.
Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Margot Robbie, Heath Ledger, Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman, and Hugh Jackman all call the land Down Under home.
Jackman has been getting plenty of attention lately for his new movie The Greatest Showman, but recently spoke out about his somewhat difficult childhood.
The actor told Who magazine he was traumatised after his mother left Australia for the UK when he was young, taking his two sisters with her.
“I thought she was probably going to come back. And then it sort of dragged on and on,” he said.
Jackman’s father looked after him and his two brother, who were also left behind, while he saw his mother about once a year.
He revealed the pair are now close though and recently shared a photo of them together on her birthday.

The actor now has a family of his own and has spoken openly about his love for his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, and their two adopted children.

“She [Furness] and I met before it was my first job and obviously she’s the greatest thing that ever happened to me and it gets better and better,” he told The Ellen Show in 2016.
“I’m really grateful that I met her before anything kind of happened, because everything that’s happened in my career, on screen and off screen, we’ve done it together.”
The couple met in 1995 while filming the Australian TV show Correlli and married the following year.
