Nicole Kidman rebels against old-school ‘fashion rule’ with cute combo

Nicole Kidman flouted one of the longest-standing fashion rules while attending the launch of the Christmas window decorations at posh department story Printemps in Paris, France.

Ignoring the saying, ‘blue and green should never been seen unless there’s a colour between’, Kidman stood out in her blue and green ensemble – and it totally works!

The Australian actress wore a pale-blue blouse with trumpet sleeves with a fitted green midi skirt that showcased her slender frame.

Adding a splash of red, Kidman rocked a pair of white and red strapped courts with mesh inserts. She accessorised simply with several sparkling rings and diamond bracelets.

Kidman wore her golden locks in soft, polished waves and opted for a slick of matte berry lipstick to complete her look.

Kidman’s bold choice might be proof that blue and green can go together. After all, no one sticks to ‘blue and brown, never in town’ anymore, or the adage about putting red and pink together.

It’s not her first attempt at a clashing colour combo, though. Kidman recently uploaded an image of her posing in red tights, paired with an olive-green puffy blouse.

Kidman, 50, is reportedly planning to renew her vows with husband Keith Urban in Hawaii. The actress popped the question for a second time to her husband on his recent 50th birthday, according to reports.

Kidman and Urban first married in Sydney in June 2006, and we’re betting any second wedding dress would be even more stunning than her first.

Do you think Kidman pulled off this look? Would you, or have you worn green and blue together?
