She’s never been one to play it safe when it comes to fashion and Australian actress Nicole Kidman brought her a-game at Comic-Con over the weekend.
The 51-year-old, who is set to appear in new superhero film Aquaman later this year, joined her famous co-stars in San Diego to give fans a hint of what to expect from her new film. While she participated in a theatrical panel at the pop culture convention, it was also a chance for her to show off her latest fashion.
Not one to disappoint, the Moulin Rouge star turned heads when she stepped out in a Victorian-style frock at the event. Nicole wore a stunning beige buttoned-up number for the special occasion. The dress featured a number of layers and included an intricate pattern of black flowers.
The Eyes Wide Shut star’s dress was long-sleeved and covered her toned arms for the occasion, although fans caught a glimpse of a matching bracelet she wore for the occasion. The look was complete with a chunky black belt and a simple pair of red heels.
Meanwhile, Nicole’s usual red locks were blonde and she wore her hair in a wavy ponytail for the event. She also opted for a more natural look when it came to her make-up.
During the event, the wife of Keith Urban shared a photo on Instagram and thanked the thousands of fans who showed their support during Comic-Con.
“Loving it here at @comic_con thank you to all of the fans for the love and the warmth,” she wrote.
Fans were quick to praise Nicole for her bold look.
“You have the most beautiful complexion! Is it good genetics or some skin care secret?” asked one fan.
Another comment read: “Why do you look like 30 ma’am? Always shining Nic, keep doing you”.
It’s been a busy year for Nicole. In addition to Aquaman, she has a number of other film and television projects in the works. Next year, she will return to Big Little Lies as Celeste Wright, a role which won her numerous awards in Hollywood earlier this year.
She’s also set to appear in Boy Erased, a film about gay conversion therapy, as well as police detective movie Destroyer. She was also announced to appear in The Goldfinch and She Came to Me.
