Joan Collins still knows how to surprise!
The 84-year-old, who admits her usual style is ‘glamorous’, took a slightly more downplayed look while hitting the red carpet for the screening of My Generation during the BFI London Film Festival.
It was less the normal ’80s shoulder-padded glamour and more ’60s chic, with a fitted top, bright red flared skirt teamed with a leather jacket, gloves and knee-high boots. With a black cap and bright red lipstick it was certainly reminiscent of a different era.
She joined a stylish looking 84-year-old Michael Caine, the main face in the documentary-style movie, on the red carpet, as did 61-year-old Jerry Hall.
Jerry chose a simple white silk blouse, paired with a fitted jacket and high-waisted pants.

Talking to Express, Collins said she’d released her own make-up range in 2014, called Timeless Beauty, to empower women.
“Make-up has a way of making women feel confident and empowered, and that’s what I wanted from Timeless Beauty,” Joan Collins said, reported Express.
While she says she always tries to keep her face out of the sun, and wears a good SFP sunscreen, Collins says her skincare routine is also important.
“I always make time for my skincare routine, especially when cleansing my face. I love any skincare products with vitamin C and E in it, and my Superlift Eye Serum is amazing at making eyes look bright and radiant.”
