They haven’t been pictured out together on a public engagement for almost a month, but Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan have made a very stylish return to the limelight as they put on a loved up display at a special charity evening.
The Duchess of Sussex, 37, completely stole the show as she showed off her tanned and toned legs in a short black £327 (AU$583) tuxedo dress by Canadian label Judith and Charles, adding towering black stilettos to the ensemble for a dramatic appearance.
The new royal wore her hair tied back in a loose up-do, almost reminiscent of her wedding day style, and carried a small gold clutch bag as she flashed a beaming smile to guests.
The couple were attending a special charity performance of hit musical ‘Hamilton’ at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London, and stood side by side as they greeted people inside.
Harry dressed up for the occasion too in a matching dark suit and tie, and could barely take his eyes off his beautiful wide. They were pictured together happily chatting and laughing in the foyer with award-winning musical creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and his wife Vanessa Nadal.
The evening was held to support Prince Harry’s charity Sentebale, working with young people affected by HIV in southern Africa.
According to the Mail Online, Harry congratulated Miranda ahead of the screening, saying: “Guys congratulations in bringing it over here… Thank you for doing this for Sentebale. It means so much to us and it’s going to be a fun night.”
Meanwhile, Meghan, who has previously seen the show in both America and the UK, asked: “Have you seen it yet in London? Because I found it so amazing to watch how that plays versus here [UK] and the response is so different but everyone loves it.”
Cast member Leslie Garcia Bowman later celebrated their visit online, tweeting: “Was an honour to have Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in to watch @HamiltonWestEnd last night!”
Meanwhile, the Sun reports Miranda anticipated a “fun and surreal” evening with the pair, and said: “You don’t get that every day. You get heads of state, we’ve had some popular folks come see our show but you don’t often get a direct descendent of one of your main characters.
“That’s very exciting and I’m very curious to see their reception.”
The couple were last pictured out together at the start of the month on Meghan’s birthday as they attended the wedding of Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks.
Charlie is one of Prince Harry’s best friends and was seen at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding in May. While the day was all about the big couple, birthday girl Meghan captured a lot of attention with her stunning choice of outfit.
The royal was photographed mingling with others outside the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Frensham, shortly before the wedding kicked off. She opted for a rather interesting frock for the outing. The dress, which sells for £400 (AU$702, US$520), featured an array of different colours.
The top of the dress was a navy colour and included trimmings of green, pink and lilac towards the bottom. The dress was complete with a chunky bow that wrapped around Meghan’s waist.
