Just days after celebrating the Queen and Prince Philip’s 70th wedding anniversary, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie stepped out for the Louis Vuitton Celebrates GingerNutz in Vogue’s December Issue event in London.
They’ve had some backlash for their outfit choices before, but the princesses decided to go all-out in flattering frocks and long boots.
Princess Eugenie opted for a mature floral print of neutrals and and yellows, with knee-length black boots that showed off a little skin. The semi-sheer material of her full sleeves and bright red lipstick helped break up some of the moody palette. Her dark hair was styled simply with a side part and a slight curl.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice looked to colours that played up her long auburn locks. Her black-and-red printed tea dress featured pussy-bow detailing, and over-the-knee boots kept her looking rugged-up and demure. She finished off the look with a vibrant blue statement handbag.
The princesses posed for the camera with their arms around each other and broad grins that lit up the room. Nicolas Ghesquiere, the current creative director of the house of Louis Vuitton, also snapped a picture with the young royals in the Mayfair store.

Princess Beatrice has kept up a busy schedule over the past few days, also visiting the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice in Radcliffe ahead of its official opening in 2018.

Beatrice stopped at Radcliffe Hall Primary School, much to the delight of the pupils, who braved a windy day to greet the princess and wave their Union Jack flags. Rugged up in a light grey coat, Beatrice waved, smiled and chatted with some of the children and staff who turned out to meet her.

Princess Beatrice opened up in Vogue recently about how bullying and life in the public eye has affected her.
“My experience was about growing up and living a very public life and living in an overexposed environment, so that’s from being 18 and struggling with your weight to what fashion choices you are wearing,” the 29-year-old said.
“Turning a negative into a positive is all about how you look at things.”
