Duchess of Cambridge wants hubby to lift his game

Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, often has the spotlight on her for being a pretty stylish dresser, but apparently the same cannot be said for her husband, Prince William.

In fact, the prince has often been called out for dressing like a real estate agent and this has led Catherine to call in the professionals.

As much as you’d like to think the Duchess takes care of her own stylish choices, the truth is she gets a bit of help from her stylist Natasha Archer, and now Natasha has been called upon to give Wills a freshening up.

According to the Daily Mail, Catherine has bagged many of William’s clothes and has them ready to go to a charity shop.

She wants her husband to wear tighter-fitting, tapered trousers that show off a bit of ankle.

She’s also ditched the brown loafers Prince William seems to enjoy getting around in for a pair of LK Bennett desert boots.

Having worked with the Duchess for the last couple of years, Natasha Archer certainly knows how to make the royal look good. Just recently she was responsible for Catherine’s outfits during hers and William’s tour of Canada, where ensembles included a blue Jenny Packham dress, a forest green Dolce & Gabbana frock (below) and an off-white Catherine Walker coat.

In addition to the new trousers and shoes, Wills will now be seen wearing more linen jackets, and sweaters from J Crew, Jaeger and Reiss.

Have you ever let a partner guide your outfit decisions? Have you ever used a stylist? What do you think of the style of Prince William and Catherine?
