Celine Dion shows off rare understated style you just might want

The singer's big announcement is already a hit.

Celine Dion has taken to Instagram to share big news with her 1.7 million followers: her newest fashion venture is now open to the public.

Dion’s handbag collection is available to purchase from Nordstrom luxury department stores, and she wasn’t shy about striking a pose to accompany the announcement.

The Canadian superstar opted for a simple outfit, with a collared white blouse with full sleeves and a black pencil skirt, her slim waist accentuated by a thick belt. Her hair was pulled back in a chic bun.

The Nordstrom Instagram also celebrated the arrival of Dion’s new collection with a cute clip of her breaking into song as she stroked one of the new bags at a launch event and showed off her vibrant red manicured nails.

Looking more relaxed in the Nordstrom video, which was shared to the account’s 2.5 million followers, Dion wears a heart-emblazoned jumpsuit with thigh-high red boots. Her blonde locks have been let loose in soft waves as she busted out her stellar vocals.

The new collection features nine styles in varying colours, with everything from satchels and clutches to a backpack and carry-on luggage. Startlingly simple, the designs range in price from $100 to $400, with the Octave leather satchel the most expensive.

Eager to please Dion’s fans, Nordstrom included an homage to Dion’s Titanic hit My Heart Will Go On with the details on the already sold-out Presto carry-on bag.

“Pack for a maiden voyage on an unsinkable ship across the icy waters of the North Atlantic (or for a quick long-weekend trip) with this durable nylon carry-on,” the description reads.

Praise from fans is already rolling in.

“I just bought another bag from your collection!” one comment reads. “It really reflects you. Can’t wait to hold them in my hands!”
