The Duchess of Cornwall isn’t afraid to have a little fun with fashion and she proved just that on a day out at a ballet school in London last week.
Camilla joined students at the The Royal Academy of Dance on Friday where she observed a classes and learned about the school’s esteemed history.
“The Duchess viewed some beautiful dance demonstrations today during a visit to @RADheadquarters,” Clarence House said of the visit. “The Royal Academy of Dance was established in 1920 to set standards for dance teaching within the UK.”
It wasn’t just youngsters learning their steps though. The Duchess also watched a ‘Silver Swans’ ballet class, which is designed specifically for older learners. The class helps improve mobility, posture, coordination and energy levels.

While she didn’t bust out any moves herself, Camilla was happy to strike a pose for the camera with some of the dancers, putting her best foot forward in a pair of glamorous knee-high boots.
The Duchess has shown a penchant for fashion in recent years and sported a classically British blue tartan skirt and jacket for the occasion.

It’s been a busy week for the Duchess and Prince Charles. The pair toured the ITV studios in London to celebrate 90 years of the Royal Television Society and even stopped for a television interview with This Morning.
In a clip shared on the Clarence House social media page, the royal couple are seen chatting with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. The segment shows the group chatting about the royals’ honey made from bees on their residence at Highgrove House.
Both Camilla and Charles also signed a guest book that will be auctioned off the one lucky viewer at the end of the year.

They were also joined by support dogs from charity group Dogs for Good, with one cheeky pup seeing fit to play a game of fetch with Charles. Digby the dog got hold of one of the studio microphones and handed it to Charles with an expected look on his face, hoping for a quick game before they got to work on the interview.
It appears Charles saw the funny side and was captured laughing as he took the mic from Digby’s mouth and bent down for a pat.

The interview seemed to further endear both Charles and Camilla to the public, with hundreds of comments flooding their social media page after it aired.
“They’re surprisingly down to earth. Neat to see them in that setting,” one woman wrote. “Obviously this is unrehearsed. The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall are down-to-earth individuals,” added another.
