Camilla showed off her thrifty side as she recycled a stunning black printed dress to honour her late mother and grandmother at a fundraiser that is very close to her heart.
The Duchess of Cornwall, 71, looked radiant as she chose the same black knee-length dress with white petal-shapes lining the neckline and arms that she wore just over a week ago at a festival of remembrance to honour fallen soldiers ahead of Remembrance Sunday.
Carrying a stylish studded black clutch back and opting for simple black heels, Camilla smiled broadly as she greeted fashion designer Julien Macdonald inside the London venue ahead of his fashion show, in aid of the National Osteoporosis Society.
She has been president of the society since 2001 and it is a cause especially close to her heart, as both her mother and grandmother passed away after battling the painful bone disease.
Clarence House shared a photo of Camilla receiving her Honorary Doctorate previously following her work with the society, showing her smiling proudly in a graduation-style gown.
The caption read: “Championing the charity’s work is a role very close to HRH’s heart, after losing both her Mother and Grandmother to the disease. In 2016, The Duchess received an Honorary Doctorate from @unisouthampton in recognition of her work on osteoporosis.”

Camilla previously opened up about the “pain and ignominy” of the disease which claimed both her family members, Rosalind Shand and Sonia Keppel.
In an open message to her younger self at the time, she admitted she was always “blissfully unaware” of the causes and effects of osteoporosis, and could she go back, she’d tell herself to focus more on her health and getting enough vitamin D.
“Sadly, as I grew older, I learned a great deal more about osteoporosis at first hand, as I watched both my mother and grandmother suffer the pain and ignominy of this agonising disease,” she said, according to the Telegraph.
“So what message would I send to my younger self, now that I have learned so much more about it? Eat a healthy diet with plenty of calcium and Vitamin D, and take plenty of exercise, both are crucial for strong and healthy bones.”

Meanwhile, the duchess previously made a stunning entrance in the same dress she wore for the fundraiser at the annual Festival of Remembrance on November 11 in the UK, alongside the rest of the royal family. While she wore similar shoes for the event, she changed her earrings to simple pearls for the concert.
