Brooke Shields set to shake-up popular TV show

Brooke Shields might be known as a child model and movie star, but she’s also been a regular on the small screen.

The actress, who’s had roles in television shows like Suddenly Susan, The Middle, Nip / Tuck and even Hannah Montana as Miley’s mother, has also been on the popular crime show Law and order: SVU.

News is that she’s going back on the Law and Order show for season 19, this time for a major recurring role.

Hollywood Reporter said the details of her role are still under wraps but the teaser news is her role will shake up Benson, the character played by Mariska Hartigay.

“I play a very different character from any I have ever played,” Brooke Shields said in a statement. “I’m excited to stir the SVU pot a bit.”

Shields also has a new movie coming out soon, titled Daisy Winters.

The 52-year-old classic beauty is looking just as good as ever, if her social media account is anything to go by.
