Seal wood scratches with this delicious item

Coming across a nasty scratch on your wooden furniture can be heart breaking, but did you know there is a simple and inexpensive way you can treat them? Just get yourself a walnut… Yes, you read that right.

It turns out this tasty little snack can do more than just help bust your cholesterol.

  • Start by rubbing the scratched wooden item with the walnut. Rub in a circular motion across the length of the scratch, going from one end to the other.
  • Rub back and forth several times.
  • Leave the scratch for several minutes. You might want to tuck into some of those walnuts while you wait…

The natural oils from the walnut will start to seep into the wood, which will help heal that unsightly scratch on the surface.

When the time is right, get a polishing cloth and gently polish the whole area.

Once you’ve polished the area, check the results. You should see that the scratch has disappeared!

Warning: You don’t want to do this if you have a severe allergy to nuts. Also, you should seek professional advice if the item is antique as this method might not be suitable.
