Princess Charlene of Monaco stuns in daring ‘shredded’ dress

Princess Charlene of Monaco has made a name for herself as one of the most fashion-forward royals in the world and she certainly lived up to her reputation in Milan on Friday.

The South African-born princess stunned as she took her seat front row at the Versace show during Milan Fashion Week wearing a slinky silver dress with strategically placed cutouts across the middle.

She paired the cleavage-baring dress with strappy silver heels and a leather jacket.

It’s just the latest in a long line of daring looks from the royal, who prefers to take risks on the red carpet rather than stick to the demure style many other royals favour.

While the Duchess of Cambridge is regularly named one of the best dressed women in the world, it’s unlikely she’d ever step out in something as risque as Charlene’s silver dress.

Fashion bloggers around the world nearly went into meltdown when Kate wore an off-the-shoulder red dress on a recent trip to Germany with Prince William, proving that just a slight shift away from her famed ladylike style is enough to set tongues wagging.

Australian-born Danish royal Princess Mary also favours a more traditional royal look, but often chooses a bold colour to inject a bit more style into her outfits.

Charlene’s metallic Versace dress is the second silver stunner she’s worn by the designer in recent weeks.

In August, she stole the show at the Monaco Red Cross Ball in Monte Carlo in a sparkly metallic jumpsuit and towering heels.

Are you a fan of her daring style? Or do you prefer the more ladylike looks of the Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Mary?
