Ooh la la, Melania shows her true colours with style in Paris

Melania Trump has once again shown her fashionable side.

Melania Trump has shown her support for an American French alliance through her fashion.

On a Bastille Day visit to Parish with husband US President Donald Trump, she has chosen red, white and blues, but there was more than just the colour choice.

Attending the Bastille Day military parade the first lady wore a stunning floral Valentino dress that featured bouquets of red tulips and blue cornflowers, the latter being their flower of remembrance.

Trump was the guest of honour at the military parade, which commemorated the 100th anniversary of the United States entry into the first world war.

There have been plenty of comparisons between Melania’s fashion style and that of the French first lady Brigitte Macron, who was equally as stylish in her above-the-knee navy dress with matching jacket.

Earlier in the visit the pair made up the red, white and blue combination together, with Melania decked out in all red Dior, while Brigitte was in white Louis Vuitton with blue accessories.

Melania went for the distinctly red, white and blue look again, in a Hervé Pierre dress for a dinner engagement at the Eiffel Tower, while Brigitte stuck to her trademark short lengths, this time in a print Louis Vuitton number.
