The 60-year-old wowed photographers when she arrived at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles with her daughter Dakota Johnson on Saturday.

The pair posed together on the red carpet, but it was all eyes on Griffith who stunned in a figure-hugging black gown, complete with a daring scoop neckline and black choker necklace.

Never one to shy away from a bold look, Griffith chose a red lip and heavily lined eyes for the occasion.

Griffith’s daughter, who you might recognise as the star of the Fifty Shades of Grey movies, has clearly inherited her mother’s taste for fashion and sported a baby-pink gown with a plunging neckline.

The LACMA event draws plenty of celebrities every year. The gala raises money for the Los Angeles County Museum Of Art and contributes to new future exhibitions and artwork.

Jane Fonda also attended and looked lovely in a shoulder-baring black lace gown.
