Melania Trump ditches glitzy gown for dressed-down Thanksgiving look

Melania's latest look is a little different from what people are used to.

The First Lady of the United States has always been considered one of the most fashionable women in the world.

Like the many women who have come before her, the world often waits in anticipation of Melania Trump’s outfit choices.

While she’s no stranger to designer dresses and glitzy events, Trump decided to go casual for a Thanksgiving Day appearance.

Trump and her husband were spotted giving back to the community on one of the biggest holidays in America.

The pair took time out of their busy schedules to give lunch to some of the country’s working service men and women.

Trump switched her typical glamorous look for a more relaxed outfit, wearing a casual pink shirt for the outing.

As she handed out sandwiches to the Coast Guards, she wore her hair in a ponytail and covered it with a baseball cap.

She even ditched her high-heels in favour of a comfy pair of Converse Sneakers.

The fashion icon even wore three-quarter pants that exposed her ankles.

She shared some snaps on Twitter and explained how grateful she was to be in Florida for Thanksgiving.

“Thrilled to spend part of our Thanksgiving w the local Coast Guard station in Florida [sic],” she said.

“Thank you to all members of military who keep us safe.”

It comes after the First Lady was criticised for wearing her coat incorrectly.

People on social media have noticed something odd about Trump’s way of wearing a coat.

As the cooler weather sets in across the United States, many have slammed her for not wearing her coats and jackets properly.

Rather than putting her arms through the sleeves of her coats, Donald’s wife opts to drape It over herself.

While there’s certainly nothing wrong with doing this, an array of people on Twitter have suggested that the Solvenian-born icon doesn’t know how to wear a coat properly.

One person joked that she wasn’t a superhero and that she should wear her coat with it’s intended purpose: “Why don’t you actually wear your coat instead of draping it. You’re #NOTBatman.”
