The easy way to make an icepack that doesn’t drip water everywhere

The summer heat continues across the country at the moment, and if you’re sweating it out, then you’ll know the value of having an icepack close by.

But while icepacks are handy, they do have a downside.

Most of us end up wrapping our icepacks in tea towels and cloths to stop them from leaking everywhere.

As the ice melts, it becomes water and drips.

But did you know there’s a way you can make your own icepacks that won’t drip?

That’s right, some clever person has come up with an absorbent icepack!

All you need to do is soak a kitchen sponge, put it in a zip lock bag or wrap in a plastic foil and then put it in the freezer.

It’ll come out frozen and cold like an icepack, but as it melts, the sponge will absorb all the water – meaning your handy little icepack won’t drip any water!

How clever is that?!
