The easiest way to clean the stove grate ever!

Here's an easy way to clean your stove grates!

If you have a gas stove, you might be very familiar with the elbow grease that comes with the cleaning.

Many have tried different solutions from scrubbing with hot water to even lining the stove with aluminium just to avoid the hard work that comes with these stoves.

But behold, we’ve tried this trick and can confirm that it does indeed work!

All you need is ammonia, water and a ziplock bag.

Here’s what you do:

1) Put the grate it into large ziploc bag if your grates are small enough. Be careful not to make any holes in the bag or tear it. You can also use a glass baking dish or even a large basin if the grates are huge but you need to seal them with glad wrap.

2) Pour 2 or 3 Tablespoons ammonia into the bag per grate.

3) Seal the bag and let it sit overnight while you enjoy your sleep.

4) Rinse the grate thoroughly and lightly wipe all the surfaces off. No actual scrubbing is needed!

What an easy trick and ammonia is so cheap compared to those fancy cleaning agents.
