Life hack: Measure sticky stuff without the mess

You know the situation: you’re measuring something sticky like honey, peanut butter or molasses and it takes a lot of patience to get it out of the jar, into the measuring cup and then into the bowl. It seems impossible to avoid the messy situation. Plus it’s hard to be sure if you’re accurately measured it when it creates such a mess.

Now there’s a simple way to measure sticky ingredients more accurately and with less mess!

Simply coat the measuring cup or spoon with hot water or a dab of cooking oil/spray before measuring the sticky substances. The heat or oil will help it slide off and into the bowl! The accurate amount ends up in recipe – no mess, waste of ingredients or waste of time!
