Life hack: DIY flea and tick remedy

Have your dogs or cats got fleas? You don’t need to spend a lot of money to get rid of these pesky creatures, including ticks.

All you need are the following ingredients…

• 240ml apple cider vinegar
• 120ml warm water
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp bicarb soda

Mix dry ingredients first then slowly add wet ingredients as the vinegar and bicarb soda will react slightly. Put into spray bottle and spray pets down. Be careful not to get in their eyes.

To get rid of fleas in your home, sprinkle Borax on the carpets and let sit for a few hours, then vacuum. This should kill all the fleas and ticks!
