Homeless man gets life-changing gift of kindness from strangers

A homeless man has been given a life-changing gift of kindness from strangers.

Jose Antonio, 55, was turned into a ‘stylish man-about-town’ after a hair salon in Spain gave him a make-over.

And you won’t believe the difference it has made.

The video shows not only the transformation but the heart-warming moment he breaks down in tears after seeing his new look.

The salon owner knew Jose from his day job working as an unlicensed car parking attendant to earn enough money for food.

The change was so great a local bar owner served him a beer on a terrace at the square where he spends his days helping car drivers find spaces and looking after their vehicles while they’re gone, without realising it was him.

The video, made by film producer Dr Filmgood, was posted on hair salon La Salvajeria’s Facebook page to coincide with the salon’s third birthday.

A former electrician ,Jose ended up homeless after suffering depression.

After seeing his new look he can’t believe the difference.

“I’m so different, no-one’s going to recognise me unless I tell them who I am,” Jose said.

Jose is now off the streets, but is still looking for work.

Hopefully now this video has gone viral, that too will change.
