Daily Joke: The grumpy old man at the movies

For the first time in many years a grumpy old guy decided that, at last, there was a movie screening that he might actually like.

He was in for a surprise when he discovered that even after showing his pension card that a ticket cost $7.50.

“When I was a boy, it only cost the equivalent of 75 cents,” he muttered to the young ticket seller.

“Well, Sir, I’m sure you will enjoy this feature. Why do they even come with sound now.”
