How were you taught about makeup?

It’s a rite of passage that is usually handled by your mother or big sister, but in the 50s and 60s, there were plenty of educational films that would teach you just about everything.

This classic from the 1960s is a tutorial about how to do your makeup for that “big night out” or to “dress to impress”.

Is this how you remember being taught?  Do you still do yours a similar way?
