Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas” is the best-selling single of all time according to the Guinness World Records selling over 100 million copies worldwide.

Written by Irving Berlin in 1940, Crosby’s performed the song on his NBC radio show on Christmas Day in 1941 and the following year recorded the song for Decca Records in 1942. The recording was then released as a part of the Holiday Inn Film soundtrack. Having been initially overshadowed by other songs in the film, Crosby’s recording went on to spend eleven weeks on top of the Billboard charts.
