Could this optical illusion be the hardest one yet?

Everyone loves a good optical illusion, and this one definitely makes the cut. The latest image to follow in the footsteps of the infamous ‘dress’ brainteaser is, what was originally captioned to be “Clearly this is a beautiful lake vista, right?”

The lush green scene in the image seems to be a tranquil lake at the foot of a mountain range.

However, viewers were taken aback when told that what seems to be a body of water, is actually a wall – and the “lake’s” white “shoreline” is actually just the top of the wall.

And, if you look closely, you’ll see that the wall is actually obscuring most of the scene, with shrubs growing on the near side. Here’s a closer look at the border of the wall.
