The blankets have been a hit on Etsy, where she had more than 10,000 orders for the patterns.  Carol told Cosmopolitan magazine what got her into it.  

 “I thought it would be nice to have a fun blanket to make me feel better,’ [when recovering from surgery on her foot] she explained. “I love princesses and big, poufy skirts. Even when I got married, I wanted that big skirt. I was playing around and decided to create something fun.”
