A lifehack sew easy for recycling a common cleanser

A great tip to make sewing easier.

There are many essentials needed for sewing.

Needle and thread, a sewing machine and a sharp pair of scissors is a good start.

Now you can include a sliver of soap to your list.

Here is a great way to use up the small bits of soap that are too small to use in the bathroom.

Make sure they are fully dried out first.

Then you can use them for marking out patterns, as a replacement for tailors chalk.

That way you are guaranteed not to leave permanent marks even on the most delicate of fabrics.

The soap can also be used to make pins move easier through fabric.

Just put the pin into the soap, as you would a pin cushion, and when you take it out it has a lubrication to allow an easier run through the fabrics.

Not only are leftover slivers of soap handy for your next project, this is a great way to recycle something you would probably just throw away.

Would you try this with your sewing?
