Gap, an American clothing retailer, is embracing diversity in its newest campaign: Bridge the Gap. Ecstatic to be included, Christie Brinkley took to Instagram to praise the company after spotting her billboard in New York’s Times Square.

“Thank you for including a woman in her 60’s in your ad campaign!” the supermodel writes.

“I love that you have ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT DIVERSITY in every way.”

Videos for the campaign feature models dancing to Boney M’s ’70s classic ‘Sunny’, and Brinkley couldn’t help quoting the poignant lyrics.

The campaign was launched last month.

“Since 1969, we’ve been about transcending differences – it’s in our jeans,” the clothing company quips in an Instagram post.

Gap partnered with British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful to create the cheerful campaign video.

“It celebrates optimistic American style, the diversity that makes each of us unique, and how Gap white tees (plus one beautiful song) can bring us all together. That’s #BridgingTheGap.”
