Are you a dog person or a cat person?

Nearly everyone loves the companionship of pets. But there are two types of people out there – cat people and dog people. Which kind of person are you? Are you better suited for changing a litter box or taking a pooch for an early morning walk?

The experience of having a cat or dog is very different. Owning a dog by nature is a more social experience, thanks to the need to walk them. On the other hand, the cat person enters into a longer contract, since cats generally live longer than dogs.

There have been a few studies about the differences between cat and dog people and here is what has been pointed out:

  1. Dog people are more sociable and extraverted.
  2. Cat people score higher in intelligence and are more intellectually curious.
  3. Dog people are more obedient and masculine than cat people
  4. Cat people are more open-minded and sensitive than dog people.

Regardless there’s plenty of room for both dog and cat people in the world! Do you have a cat or dog? What are is he/she called?
