A simple home remedy to get rid of unsightly skin tags

Skin tags are harmless but not everyone likes their appearance.

Got some skin tags you’d like to get rid of, so you can wear singlets and shorts this summer with more confidence?

There’s only one thing you need to reduce these common marks on your skin, and the best part is that you probably already have it in your cupboard.

We’re talking about apple cider vinegar. You may already know that the product is able to soothe and heal, but you may not have realised it can also get rid of skin tags.

Here’s how to use it:

  1. Clean the skin around the skin tag with lukewarm water and mild soap, then dry
  2. Scratch the tag gently with a clean toothpick (this step is optional – you can skip if you’re squeamish or find it painful)
  3. Soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar diluted with water, and squeeze out the excess
  4. Place the soaked cotton wool on the skin tag and hold it in place with a bandage or Band-Aid.

Leave the cotton wool in place for about 15 minutes and repeat up to three times each day. The skin tag should darken before falling off, if you keep up the process.

Have you tried this? How well did it work for you? Do you use apple cider vinegar for other health purposes too?
