Hair stylists say that a fringe is one way to cut years off your age with a few snips, and clearly Christie Brinkley is a believer.

The 63-year-old model looked even more youthful than usual when she debuted a new haircut with a fringe.

She showed off her new look on Instagram, saying she’d gone for ‘easy peasy bangs for the summer’ and thanking her hair stylist Peter Savic, who also posted a pic of the covergirl looking chic in a white jacket and simple t-shirt after the cut.

Just a month earlier, Brinkley was pictured with a more classic side-swept style, when she attended an event in New York with her daughter with Peter Book, Sailor Lee Brinkley-Cook.

Brinkley wasn’t content just with provoking envy with her unusually youthful face, though. She also posted an image of herself kicking up the waves at the beach, along with an announcement that her own Bellissima Prosecco drinks brand was at a new retailer.

In fairness, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that Brinkley always looks glowing. She’s been a vegetarian since the age of 14 and is enthusiastic about organic foods, even on Friday becoming the face of a new promotion called Beverly Hills: City of Wellth, which will see the glamorous city host healthy lifestyle events throughout the US summer.

She’d clearly headed to straight from the hairdressers to the City of Wellth launch, where she said that healthy lifestyle had been key to maintaining a long career in the fashion and beauty industry, with a balanced approach to diet, exercise and ‘mindfulness’ being her recipe for feeling vital.
