Four-ingredient peanut butter biscuits

The best biscuits for an afternoon-tea snack!

These peanut butter biscuits are deliciously more-ish and a perfect afternoon tea snack. They are super-easy to whip up in, only taking about 15 minutes, and best of all only use three ingredients.

Bake them in bulk if you are looking to treat your grandkids and store in an air-tight container in the cupboard.

Ingredients

  • 200g peanut butter (crunchy or smooth is fine)
  • 175g golden caster sugar
  • ¼ tsp fine table salt
  • 1 large egg

Method

  1. Heat oven to 180C. Line two baking trays with baking paper. In a bowl, add peanut butter and sugar. Add salt and mix well with wooden spoon. Add egg and mix to combine into a dough.
  2. Separate small, even sections of dough and place on baking trays. Make sure dough balls are spaced away from one another. Press down with back of fork to flatten.
  3. Bake for 12 minutes until lightly golden. Cool on tray for 10 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Store in airtight container for up to 3 days.
