Hazelnut truffles

A lovely home-made treat that will truly make your mouth water.

Makes 16 


  • 1 cup (140g) raw hazelnuts, lightly toasted
  • 2 tablespoons (15g) raw cacao powder
  • 5 (90g) Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 tablespoon (20ml) milk (any type of milk, it’s your choice – coconut or almond milk work really well)

Place the hazelnuts into a food processor and grind to a fine powder. Add 1 tablespoon of the cacao, dates and milk and continue to process until a dough forms. Place the remaining cacao onto a flat plate. Roll teaspoons of mixture into balls then roll in the cacao. Place in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
