The Starts at 60 Meetups have kicked off with a bang around the country! Hundreds of people came together in October and the demand for more venues in other cities is high.

Our events, where possible will be held on the First Tuesday of the month. However, for next month, in November, we will make an exception because of the Melbourne Cup. The event in November will be moved to the Second Tuesday: 10 November at 11am.

The events are free to attend. Just come, make a new friend or two and leave with a smile. Every event has a dedicated over 60 community co-ordinator that has volunteered to welcome everyone on the day.

You can confirm your attendance for an event by booking a free ticket from our events page. This will help us communicate with your community co-ordinators so they know how many people plan to attend.

  1. Sorry Penrith group. I will only be able to add our group a bit later.Email problems I’m afraid. But we are changing venue to Penrith Panthers for this next meet and I hope to have times of the Panthers bus that meets you at the station as well. Such a happy bunch so do try and join us.

  2. Melbournians – I’ll be “hosting” one at “Time Out” in Federation Square – its the cafe behind the info centre – has orange umbrellas … love to meet up

    • Darrell, why don;t you start one? If you have a local coffee shop you feel would be a good meeting place, just let the office know and it will be added to the list.
