With a variety of book genres ranging from kids stories, science books, crime fiction, art, music and dance, there is sure to be something to read for anyone in attendance.

The festival doesn’t just have books. A variety of magazines, CDs, vinyls, cassettes and stationary equipment can also be purchased on the day. So get down to the Lifeline Bookfest this year and find yourself a cracking good read.

  1. What a pity! This seems to be Queensland only. We could do with something like this in Sydney!!!

    • They have it a couple of times a year in Wollongong Wendy, so you dont need to travel all the way to Qld – come down to the Gong 🙂

  2. If you think the Boxing Day sales are bad, avoid the Lifeline bookfest – people leave with shopping trolleys of books, pack them in the car and come back for more. Great technical and textbook buys also.
