A mother was writing a shopping list when her naughty son stole her pen and put it in his mouth.

He accidentally swallowed it and the mother frantically called her child’s doctor.

She yelled down the phone, “Hello, Doc! There’s been an emergency! My son just snatched my pen when I was writing and swallowed it. What should I do?”

The doctor paused for a moment and replied, “Well, I’m booked out until noon. So until I can come over, try writing with another pen.”
