Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry’s private snaps of Princess Diana

As well as revealing their pain over the death of their mother, Princess Diana, both Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry have shared personal photographs from her own album.

The images are part of the new ITV documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy.

In one of the images the pair are sitting together on a picnic bench.

In this one with a young William, Princess Diana is pregnant with Harry.

A third is a snap of Princess Diana and Prince Harry while on holiday.

In a post on Twitter from Kensington Palace, talking about the photos and the documentary, the Duke says it feels like a good time to remember all the good things about her.

Harry also says she was one of the naughtiest parents, accompanied by this clip of the trio enjoying themselves on show rides.

The documentary and the release of the photographs come ahead of the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death in a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997 when she was just 37 years old.

While the documentary will screen tonight in the UK you can watch it in Australia on Seven’s Sunday Night on July 30 at 7pm.
