Carrie Fisher steps out in groovy outfit and boots

Since making headlines with shocking revelations about her Star Wars years back in the 1970s, Carrie Fisher has not been hiding from the public eye. In fact, she has been spotted out and about. This time, she was seen heading to her book signing for new memoir The Princess Diarist in New York City on Monday.

Fisher looked sharp in a tweed hat. She added a splash of colour with a colourful scarf that stood out against her dark coat.

Look at her boots! They have colourful trims. Fisher wore a bright lipstick which brightened her look. The 60-year-old carried a plastic cup in one hand as she arrived to Strand Books in the Big Apple.

Recently, Fisher revealed she asked to lose weight before appearing in 1977’s Star Wars.

Asked by The Late Show host Stephen Colbert if she was told she had to shed the pounds before filming, she said: “They did … they always do. They want to hire part of me, not all of me. So they want to hire about three fourths … so I have to get rid of the fourth somehow.”
