Book Club: The Great Gatsby is coming on Tuesday

Many thanks to the participants in last Tuesday night’s book club discussion on The Railwayman’s Wife by Ashley Hay; your thoughts were insightful and it is great that you enjoyed the book.  It is very important to Vivienne, Dolly and myself (the book club co-ordinators) that we choose the books you want to read and any suggestions are most welcome.

Discussion number 3 is just a few days away (Tuesday at 8pm) and it is, of course, The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald with discussion lead by just-back-from-a-cruise, Dolly.  If you haven’t joined one if our live online book chats before this is a great one for a first timer.  Apart from the recent release of the Leonardo di Caprio Gatsby, there are two others starring Alan Ladd and Robert Redford (also with  Mia Farrow whose Daisy was ethereal).  So if time to read has just run out, feel free to “read the movie”.
