Reg Livermore ‘out on a bender’ during rehearsals of My Fair Lady

Reg Livermore and the cast of My Fair Lady during rehearsals in Brisbane.

Australia’s own iconic performer Reg Livermore is hitting the stage in the production My Fair Lady.

Playing Eliza’s father Alfred P Doolittle, Reg shows he still has all the energy he needs to bring to the role, in this rehearsal held before the Brisbane leg of the performances.

The Burke’s Backyard and Our House regular is no stranger to the stage, or even My Fair Lady, after playing Professor Higgins in the 2008 production.

But it seems Reg was always destined to be a performer.

He started his career hiring local halls to stage performances of his own pantomimes, starring his neighbourhood friends.

From Crackerjack to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Reg has showed his versatility over the years.

Don’t miss him in this latest production, directed by Julie Andrews.
